Refund policy
Last updated 4 October 2026
Auto·Flick is sold by Captivated Ltd (England and Wales) through our merchant of record, Stripe, which processes payments and refunds. This policy explains when you can get your money back. It sits alongside our licence agreement and terms, and it does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Try before you buy
Every feature is available in a free 30-day trial, so you can decide whether Auto·Flick is right for you before paying anything. We encourage you to use the trial fully — after it ends, the app keeps working and only adds a watermark to exports until you buy a licence.
Perpetual licence (one-time purchase)
If you buy a perpetual licence and change your mind, contact us within14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the purchase was for your personal or business use as an individual consumer. We may decline refunds where there is clear evidence of abuse (for example, buying, exporting a large volume of unwatermarked work, and then requesting a refund).
Subscriptions
You can cancel a subscription at any time from the customer portal (the link is in your purchase email and in the app). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not generally refund part-used subscription periods, except where required by law or where a renewal was clearly unintended and unused.
Your statutory rights (UK / EU)
As a consumer you may have a statutory right to cancel a purchase of digital content within 14 days. Because Auto·Flick is downloadable software supplied immediately, at checkout you may be asked to consent to immediate supply and to acknowledge that this can end that cancellation right once you begin using the paid features. Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or equivalent local law — including your right to a remedy if the software is faulty.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address you bought with, or use the customer portal link in your purchase email. Refunds are returned to your original payment method by the merchant of record; the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank.
